Electric Eels

Did you know that electric eels grow up to be 8.2ft long, weigh 44lbs., and have 500 watts of electricity? An electric eel has a square body and a flattened head. They live in South America in muddy bottoms of calm waters and they are found in swamps, coastal plains, rivers, oceans, and creeks. Electric eels mostly don’t have scales. Electric eels eat other eels and fish. Eels are closely related to the catfish. The geography of where they live is plants, coral, and much more.
