Elections

I think that Obama is going to win and I want him to. Clinton just lost one of her people. The last election results he was ahead of Clinton by 66 votes so far he is in the lead and I hope he stays there. Obama is a fun and caring man I think he is going to make a great president. That's what I think is a primary election.

Biomes

A biome is a system of animals, plants, and landforms. They have very similar ecosystems. Rain forests have a lot of rain and is humid. Utah is mostly made up a of deserts where snakes and mountain lions. The biome that I choose is the tropical rain forest because its pretty there and there's a lot of rain. The climate there is sunny, rainy, and warm. The animals that live there are monkeys, jaguars, and lots of other cool animals. Tropical biomes are close to the equator and thats why it's warm there.

Prairies (Grasslands)

The vegetation of the prairie is grasslands, trees, and some bushes. Climate there is cold in the summers and windy and sunny in the winters. The landforms of the prairie is grassy and has mountains. The animals that live there are prairie dogs and a lot of other animals.

Desert

The climate of the desert is hot and dry. The geography of the desert is rocks, dirt, and cliffs. Vegetation there is cactus and a lot of it. Animals that live there are reptiles. It hardly rains there and the cactus doesn't really need water.

Marine Ecosystem

The geography in the ocean is just the same as on the surface. Like sandy plains, mountains, trenches, and much more. There are three different levels in the ocean, The three levels are Euphotic, Bathyal, Abyssal, and each of these levels have different life living there. Euphotic have tiny plants and animals called plankton this level gets a lot of sunlight. Bathyal have whales and other fish living there and it gets little sunlight. Abyssal have lantern fish that has a light on its head that a tracks prey. Those are the marine ecosystem.

They live in South America in muddy bottoms of calm waters and they are found in swamps, coastal plains, rivers, oceans, and creeks. Electric eels mostly don’t have scales. Electric eels eat other eels and fish. Eels are closely related to the catfish. The geography of where they live is plants, coral, and much more.

Presidential Voting

If I were allowed to vote I would vote for Obama and Mccain since Romney had dropped out. I would vote for Obama because he seems like a great person and he is supporting the fight against the Iraq War. Mccain is a much older and wiser man. Mccain is most likely to win. I think both of them are very nice and caring gentlemen. The other candidates are okay but I just don't agree with their statements.

Rusting of Steel

My science project was about two nails one was put in water and the other without water. My hypothesis was that the nail without water was going to rust faster, but my hypothesis was wrong. The one in water rusted faster. I thought it would take 10 to 15 days for it to start rusting. It only takes 96hrs or 4 days to start to rust. My conclusion is that the nails are made up of 96.75% of iron and when that combines with water and air it forms rust.
